Destilla mountain tour leads into the Austrian Tannheim valley

Nearly 30 colleagues went on the traditional Destilla mountain tour this year. Our destination was the Gimpelhaus in the Austrian Tannheim valley, above Nesselwängle.

The start in rather moderate weather could not affect the good mood and so all participants could easily conquer the first stage to the Gimeplhaus at 1,659 meters. After a short rest, a large part of the group dared to climb the Rote Flüh at 2,111 meters and was rewarded with a great view and sunshine. After the descent, the Destilla mountain friends spent a cozy evening and enjoyed the rustic hut atmosphere.

The descent after a rich breakfast on Sunday morning took us on another route back down into the valley. All of the colleagues returned tired but with a big smile and many great memories back to Nördlingen.
